Tongue & Tonic now carry a limited range of Jane’s shawls. As a local resident, Jane’s creativity and passion align well with T&T’s holistic business values. Jane recently retired after a successful 35 year corporate career in Banking and Finance Operations.
She returned to her love for hand knitting and design. During her hectic career Jane found hand knitting was her form of meditation, carefully creating and blending pure natural fibres into bespoke shawls. Her Mother taught her the gentle art of knitting when she was 14.
Jane has produced a range of unique meditation shawls/wraps sourced from 100 % hand-dyed merino mohair wool.
Each garment is carefully designed and slowly knitted for that special ‘one of a kind’ look. Each of the shawls are lovingly named and created with loving intention. One shawl takes more than twenty hours to craft; we hope you cherish yours forever.
